Real Estate Agents’ Associations are official industry groups.
Established April 1, 2012 as a public corporation, the Real Estate Agents’ Association of Fukuoka Prefecture has been in existence since 1967.
Its goal is to ensure a stable supply and suitable distribution of the residential land and dwellings so critical for the country’s citizens, as well as to contribute to the development of the real estate industry and to the stability of, and improvements in, the quality of residential life of the prefecture’s citizens. Consisting of employees representing some 4,600 companies in Fukuoka Prefecture, when it comes to the real estate brokerage industry, which must remain open to the public, real estate professionals work together, devoting themselves to proactively carrying out activities designed to develop sound work practices at the local level.
The Real Estate Agents’ Association of Fukuoka Prefecture is a member of the National Real Estate Agents’ Association, a nationwide organization. There are roughly 100,000 members affiliated with this organization nationwide, and about 80% of all registered real estate agents belong to the association.
